FCLG provides exam preparation training for all three RBLP® certifications:

• RBLP (Team Leadership – for frontline supervisors)

• RBLP-C (Managerial Leadership – for experienced managers)

• RBLP-T (Applied Leadership – for senior leaders)

These certifications include ACE college credit recommendations and are competency-based with oral exams.

Our programs are designed for professionals at all levels, from early-career supervisors to senior executives. We also serve veterans transitioning to civilian roles, government leaders, nonprofit teams, and private sector managers seeking to strengthen their leadership capacity.

All RBLP exam prep courses are delivered virtually through live, instructor-led sessions. We offer both one-on-one and group cohort options to fit a variety of schedules and organizational needs.

Unlike traditional academic credentials, RBLP certifications assess real-world leadership competencies focused on resilience, team learning, and culture. The oral exam format evaluates your ability to apply leadership principles to past and current experiences.

In addition to exam prep, FCLG offers the First City Culture Insight™ Framework, a standalone assessment process that helps organizations evaluate alignment between mission, vision, values, and culture. It includes proprietary tools like the Culture Capability Index™, Culture Delta Map™, and Alignment Quotient™.

We’ll guide you through a quick eligibility review based on your leadership experience. Typically:

• RBLP is ideal for those with 1-3 years in a team leadership role.

• RBLP-C suits mid-level managers.

• RBLP-T is best for senior leaders with broad responsibility and experience.

Absolutely. We partner with businesses, government agencies, and nonprofits to deliver scalable training for groups. We can tailor cohort schedules and offer organizational culture assessments as part of a larger leadership development strategy.

Depending on the certification level and your schedule, most clients complete the prep in 6–10 weeks. The oral exam typically takes 1.5 to 3.5 hours, depending on certification level.
